Kashvi Learning Centre was established with a noble vision – to ensure that girls between the ages of 14-24 years have unfettered access to education, regardless of their age, income level, or geographic location.

In India, it is widely recognized that girls, particularly those from rural and low-income backgrounds, face significantly higher dropout rates from schools compared to boys. The Kashvi Learning Centre is dedicated to addressing this disparity and works diligently to empower these girls by providing them with access to education. The Inder Mohan Thapar Scholarship & Research Award aims to support and recognize exceptional students and mentors engaged in cutting-edge research within various STEM subjects. Established in 2017, this prestigious scholarship and award program is a result of a collaboration between the Inder Mohan Thapar Foundation and the Indian Institute of Technology-Indian School of Mines (IIT-ISM).
